Oleksandr Milovzorov

Oleksandr Milovzorov is a Ukrainian artist, Honored Artist of Ukraine (1988), member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1963.

Born on April 22, 1938 in Kyiv. In 1957, he graduated from the Kyiv School of Applied Arts, and in 1968 from the Leningrad Higher Art and Industrial School named after Mukhin, where his mentors were V. Markov and K. Mitrofanov.

Oleksandr Milovzorov works in the field of painting, graphics, and monumental and decorative art, in particular ceramics. His works are kept in art museums in Ukraine and abroad, as well as in private collections. In 1987, he founded the “Triptych” gallery, and since 1996 he has been the artistic director and owner of Gallery-36 on Andriivsky Uzvoz in Kyiv.

Milovzorov’s work is distinguished by an individual style and a significant contribution to the development of modern Ukrainian art.
