On August 7, at 4:00 p.m., the museum opened an exhibition of drawings by the winners of the international competition “Sustainable Creativity “Eco-Friendly Art”. The topic of the competition is the creation of an author’s image of a plant or flower listed in the Red Book of Ukraine. In the conditions of war, the issue of preserving rare plant species is extremely urgent.
There are about 20 such species in the territories covered by hostilities. 170 works made in the author’s technique took part in the competition program. Contestants from Ukraine, Spain, Germany, USA, Czech Republic, Turkey and Switzerland sent them in three weeks. The exhibition presents the works of the Ukrainian artist Oksana Lupich from the “Red Book” series and 46 drawings of the WINNERS of the International Competition “Sustainable Creativity “Eco-Friendly Art”.
This is a joint project of the National Museum of Decorative Arts of Ukraine and the educational platform UA.Heritage. We are waiting in the museum for all the participants of the competition and their parents, winners, and as well as support groups to award diplomas and commemorative presentations.
